PDG Robert M. Libin is a Life member, of Lions Clubs International.  He joined the Rego Park – Forest Hills Lions club in 1989.  He has served several terms as President, Vice President, Secretary, Committee Chair, Tail Twister, Lion Tamer, and member of the Board of Directors.

PDG Libin has served District 20 K-1 as Zone Chair, Zone Chair at large, Region Chair, various Committee Chairs, CSF II District Coordinator, Cabinet Secretary, Vice District Governor, and District Governor 2004-2005 as well as Treasurer, Secretary and President for the PDG association of District 20 K-1.  As Governor, founded the Lions District 20 K-1 Foundation and served 3 terms as President.  He is a Certified Guiding Lion and graduate of the Lions Clubs International Senior Lions Leadership Institute.
He has served Multiple District 20 as the Secretary/Treasurer & President of the Pin Trading Club of New York and Bermuda.  He has also served on various State Lion’s Committees including Resolutions, Voting, and as member of the Board for the Lions Eye Bank for Long Island and currently as Secretary for the Brandel-Murphy Youth Foundation.  He is a past director to the Multiple District Past District Governors Association.  He served on the MD20 Super Storm Sandy Committee.  He has presented seminars at both the District and Multiple District level.
He has served on the International Resolutions and International Credentials Committees.  He was a member of the Board of Directors, Webmaster, and currently is Legal Counsel and 1st Vice President for the Lions International Trading Pin Club.  He was appointed by Lions Clubs International “LCIF Chair for District 20 K-1”.  He has attended numerous International Conventions, Multiple District Conventions, USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forums, and countless district training, and Multiple District workshops.  He has also been a presenter at various District and Multiple District workshops and seminars and a presenter at the 2011 District Governor Elect School in Seattle.
He received the “Friends of Humanity” award from LCIF, is Humanitarian Partner of LCIF,  a progressive Melvin Jones Fellow over 100 times, was a Founding Fellow of the MD 20 NY State and Bermuda Foundation, a Founding Fellow of the District 20 K-1 Foundation, has been awarded 3 Robert J. Uplinger distinguished service awards, Lion of the Year, Knights of the Blind, a 25 member key, several Presidential certificates, the International President’s award as well as many other service, appreciation, membership and attendance awards, with perfect attendance since he became a Lion.
He is a Life member of the National Eagle Scout association, being an Eagle Scout with 2 palms.  He is a retired attorney and real estate property manager.  He is married to Lion Michelle Libin, together they have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
