PDG Richard Durham of North Carolina joined the Goldsboro Downtown Lions Club in 1982 and has Perfect attendance for over 32 years. PDG Richard was 100% President of his club in 1986-1987 where he also served as a Vice President and on various committees. PDG Richard served as a Zone and Region Chair, Secretary/Treasurer and was on many District Committees. In 1996-1997 he served as a 100 % District Governor.
PDG Richard served as Treasurer of the North Carolina Lions, Inc. for four years and several terms on its board of directors. He is a Past President of the North Carolina Lions Pin Trading Club and served as a board member. He is a past president, secretary and a member of the Goldsboro Optimist Club. He is the Board Commissioner of the City of Goldsboro Housing Authority.  
PDG Richard is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of North Carolina, retired Director of Finance for the City of Goldsboro, North Carolina. He is a Past Board Member, Secretary, Treasurer and President of the North Carolina Government Finance Officers Association.
He is a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, where he served as Chairperson of Budget and Finance, Past Treasurer, Past President of the Men’s Club and Chairperson of the Administrative Council.
