One of our biggest problems in the administration of the Lions International Trading Pin Club (LITPC) is maintaining current information on our members. Our members move and we are not notified, our members change their email addresses and we are not notified. We feel it is very important that we get this information on a timely basis. Without the correct email address we cannot notify you of current information that may be important to you. If your mailing address is incorrect you cannot receive the LITPC newsletter. "The Trading Post" Over the past several years our board has been working hard for our members. Our relationship with LCI has been outstanding resulting in the LITPC members being assigned to the hotel closest to the convention Center in Detroit, Boston and Chicago. Our accommodations have been outstanding and we expect that to continue. This past year we had our first ever LITPC article on pin trading published in the Lions magazine. We also gave our first seminar on pin trading at the International Convention in Chicago to a standing room only crowd. This year and next we in the pin trading community are doing another first. We are committed to raising a minimum of $80,000 for Sight First II. We now have over 40 MD pin trading club worldwide. Our newsletter, "The Trading Post" continues to set the standard for newsletters. Our web site at LITPC.org is being updated continuously and is now furnishing usable information to our members regarding pins and pin trading. Recently we arranged for our members to pay their dues through pay pal to litpctreasurer@comcast.net. We have now had a member renew, a member order pins and have signed up a new member from Australia using pay pal. As you can see we are trying to be more responsive to our membership and create a club in which every member is important. Our goal is to expand pin trading and make it a more enjoyable experience for everyone. In order to do this we must have correct information in our data base to insure that we can contact our members in a timely manner. If you have not had an email from us within the past quarter it is because we have an incorrect email address for you. If you have not received your newsletter it is because the address on file is incorrect. Please help us to help you. Complete and send in one of the applications from this web site. If your dues are not due at this time it would still be appreciated so that we can get your information correct in the data base. Home Updated: November 2, 2007 |
